Marchesa was established by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig in 2004. Through the years, the co-designers have created many memorable and elegant gowns especially for red carpet events. For this year’s Academy Awards ceremony, Marchesa was approached by Water.org and Stella Artois to design a gown with a philanthropic message.

Olivia Culpa’s custom-designed Marchesa gown was created in partnership with Matt Damon‘s charity, Water.org, to raise awareness about the global water crisis. The campaign aims to empower women and girls, who are usually the ones in charge of collecting clean water for their families in many impoverished parts of the world.

The “Buy A Lady a Drink” campaign provides 5 years of clean water for someone in the developing world for every limited-edition Chalice glass purchased on Stella Artois‘s website.
I saw on tv and I liked the message behind the outfit.
Best Regards,
Stella Pakravan
