Okra Stew (Khoreshe Bamieh)

Okra is rich in magnesium, folate and fiber. It’s a good source of vitamins A, C and K1. In my family we serve Okra Stew with white rice. You can also serve it with brown rice or quinoa.

Okra stew is traditionally made with beef or chicken, but the above photo is the vegetarian version.
