Chocolate Chip Scones

These delicious scones are not too sweet and are a great treat any time of the day.


1/2 cup sugar

3 cups bread flour

1 teaspoon Kosher salt

1 cup chocolate chips (may substitute 1 cup berries)

2 1/2 cups heavy cream


1 – Place all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour in the cream and stir until all the ingredients are incorporated. You can add water if the dough is too dry.

2 – Throw the dough on the counter or a board and form a circle. Cut the dough into equal slices and place them on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.

3 – Bake for 25 to 35 minutes.
